CHURCH OUTING 2007
On 26th June we went on a church outing to Singleton Lake Park in Swansea. It had been raining for what seemed like years in the run up to the day, and even early on in the morning the rain fell on and off. But praise God, as we travelled down to Swansea in our 72 seater coach plus other assorted cars, the clouds broke a little and by the time we got there it was perfect weather to be outside all day.
Singleton Lake Park has everything for an outing like this, especially for the kids. It has a playground, crazy golf, boats for the lake, large inflatable slide and enough grass to run around on until your legs don’t work anymore.
We had a great turn out especially from the kids attending the weekly clubs and had a great day. Centre to our outing is a short gospel talk. Why, because Jesus is at the centre of our lives and we want Him to be the centre of everything we do, even an outing.
